The 2016 CCA charrette tackles livable communities of the North!
The annual CCA charrette has just been announced and will be officially launched next November 10th in Montreal, and also via live broadcast on YouTube. Proposals must be submitted by November 13th at midnight.
The subject deals with the built environment in the North and invites designers to reconsider Arctic villages. They particularly dare them to intervene in northern settlements and settings, and especially to help create livable communities simply and frugally. Be reminded that students in two studios at the School of Architecture are currently working on related issues! You would do well to exchange with them, in addition to consulting the many projects and ideas on this Website.
PARTICIPATE IN DROVES ! This charrette is partly made possible by the Living in Northern Quebec partnership. http://www3.cca.qc.ca/charrette/2016/index.html
