L'exposition présentait le fruit d'un séjour de terrain au Nunavik par les 20 étudiants et 2 professeurs de l'Atelier / Laboratoire de design urbain de l'École d'architecture de l'Université Laval. Du 2 au 9 octobre 2015, les étudiants ont arpenté, visité, observé, relevé et analysé le cadre bâti de Kuujjuaq et d'Inukjuak dans le but de comprendre le processus de transformation des villages / territoires / paysages, les logiques de développement et de construction, l'occupation des espaces communs et les formes d'habitat, pour cerner les enjeux et défis de l'aménagement nordique. L'expo initie un atlas "ouvert" auquel pourront contribuer d'autres équipes du partenariat.

The exhibit presented the results of a visit to Nunavik by the 20 students and 2 professors participating in the Urban Design Atelier / Laboratoire at Université Laval’s School of Architecture. From October 2 to 9, 2015, the students surveyed, visited, observed, noted and analyzed Kuujjuaq's and Inukjuak's built environment in order to understand the process for transforming villages / territories / landscapes, the thinking behind development and construction, the occupation of communal spaces, and the types of housing, to pinpoint the issues and challenges of Northern planning. The exhibition initiates an "open" atlas to which other teams of the partnership can contribute.
